Content Writing — Experience?

Well when I heard this term for the first some six years ago, it sounded different. I have never written anything about any product or article. People started saying (source : online articles)that you need to have a sophisticated English and grammar to be able to achieve this. Over the years what I observed is that just those two ingredients are not the only essence that enhance the taste of the content but one also needs to have some idea about the product itself to be able to interpret. In some instances, a first hand information(or a report) helps to a great extent and sometimes the circumstances and situation around you drives you to that upper level that assists in writing effectively.

English is not my native language, just a subject that was taught to all of us in schools and colleges. This was out of necessity and for communication. I have been writing for over an year now and anything that fascinates me, especially from travel and art ensure to interpret it digitally on my laptop. The views and description that I portray are my own and it is advisable not to fall into plagiarism. Content writing can be in any language. I would love to start one in Hindi and I would be glad to do one at the earliest. No school or university will hold a course in content writing, though there are abundant vocational course(s) that give you a deep insight of the same. The information or content that I have mentioned should convey the message in a simple manner. I do not always believe in using “flamboyant” terminology or words. It is not that if I use a simple word spoken by all of us on a daily basis then I am a college kid and using a sophisticated terminology or a another substitute makes you look like a great of a scholar. This weird notion has been driven to our brains by the flashy and trendy corporates who in turn rely on foreign clients- at least a good chunk of them.

I laugh when the portals ask, rather insist for a strong experience of 2/3/7 years in content writing. We all can write. All that is needed some real time data(in certain cases), being creative, simple and neat. I feel this trend was earlier limited to journalists and media personnel. Later propagated to every nook and corner of the society and giving it a tag. I do not think any school or college could pin you right in the epicenter of the content writing course. They will guide you till the ultimate and penultimate levels and it is up to us to come out with fresh and creative ideas to reach the core of the that shell. I write for myself and been into blogging for sometime now. I have not received any views nor reads, irrespective of adding tags as suggested by the blogger. Word of mouth helps. But again to reach out to a wide audience most of the sites come out with packages and plans. They are jealous if your wallet is heavy and keep it to yourself and not sharing your card or cash(that is money making funda and funda in India means a unique strategy for anything). This whole for the west craze has given a little chance and scope for people who are new to writing spread their wings. This is because a good share of the writing is only Western centered and follow their style and language. This is really absurd to me. Just being yourself while writing is the beautiful thing. The issue is if something is good and worth reading, one needs to promote it a huge level, pay etc.

Keep writing accordingly and ensure that the information is crisp, neat and reaches out to the masses.
